The bedrooms were cramped, with doors that wouldn’t shut properly, making it a hassle to find some privacy. We were greeted by unpleasantly foul-smelling water, and while the issue was addressed, it should have been sorted out before our arrival. The lack of instructions for using kitchen appliances was frustrating, and we felt particularly cold during our off-season visit due to the absence of heating, even with provided blankets. Noise was a major issue. the constant sounds from the kitchen storeroom below, along with late-night bin emptying just outside our window, made for a restless stay. the proximity of the swimming pool meant constant foot traffic and little quiet time during our meals.
